The person responsible for bringing the Poster for the Seville Spring Festivals 2026 to life is the Sevillian painter Dani Franca, an artist with a solid career and a deep connection to the brotherhood and religious poster art of the city.
Franca, born in Seville in 1985, holds a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Seville, specialising in painting. Throughout his career he has received important recognition, such as the first National Painting Prize of the Ateneo de Sevilla in 2008.
His career as a poster artist is impressive. He has created the posters for Holy Week in Ronda (2012), the Glories of Seville (2012), Holy Week in Cádiz (2023) and, the most significant to date, the poster for Holy Week in Seville 2023, which depicted a "levantá" (the lifting) of the Virgen de la Estrella and was exhibited alongside all his religious-themed work in a show in Seville.

One of the great successes of the poster is its ability to unite in a single image the two great celebrations of the Sevillian spring. Elements such as the wicker chair or the flowers scattered in the patio refer to the April Fair, establishing a natural visual dialogue between Holy Week and the festival that fills the Real de Los Remedios with joy weeks later.
The Poster for the Seville Spring Festivals 2025 was created by Taller Daroal, by the artists Francisco Rovira and David Romero, and was presented on 10 February 2025 in the Colón Hall at the City Hall. The work is inspired by the legendary sevillana by Manuel Pareja-Obregón "Sevilla tiene una cosa", and its central element is a flamenco guitar surrounded by swallows, carnations, the Giralda, the Triana Bridge and the crown of thorns of the Gran Poder. Its typography pays homage to the historic posters by Juan Manuel Sánchez (1925) and Ramón Monsalves (1943).

The prelude to the festival will take place on Monday 20th April with the traditional "Noche del Pescaíto" (Fried Fish Night), which will lead to the long-awaited "Alumbrado" (Lighting) of the Fairgrounds. That moment, when thousands of lights are switched on at the gateway and along the streets of the fairground, officially marks the start of the most joyful week in the Sevillian capital.
The only local holiday during the Fair will be Wednesday 22nd April (Miércoles de Feria), a key day to enjoy the atmosphere in the marquees without the weekend crowds. The closing will take place on Sunday 26th at midnight with a grand fireworks display by the Guadalquivir River, one of the most emotional and anticipated moments.
