Behind The Sun Places is the vision of Xavier Robert, CEO, founder and the strategic driving force behind this real estate project.
With a career of more than 30 years in the real estate sector, Xavier began his journey specialising in the purchase and sale and management of real estate assets for major accounts, investment funds and Family Offices.
Career and success in the tourist apartment sector
In 2007, he co-founded BCN Apartment Rentals and Be Apartment, brands that quickly positioned themselves as market leaders. His differential approach was the comprehensive management of entire buildings of tourist apartments, covering everything from rehabilitation and strategic interior design to operational start-up.
A reference in regulation and sector associationism
His experience and leadership led him to assume the position of Vice President of APARTUR (Barcelona Tourist Apartment Association) and, subsequently, to form part of FEVITUR (Spanish Federation of Tourist Housing and Apartment Associations) as a representative board member for 12 years. From these leadership positions, he has led key negotiations with municipal and regional governments, actively participating in the development of holiday rental regulation plans in Spain.
Technological innovation applicable to tourist accommodation
In 2015, driven by identifying the real needs of owners and managers, he founded BedLoop, a management software for tourist accommodation that today is a technological benchmark in the sector thanks to the know-how contributed by his entire operational team.
