Seville Flamenco Biennial 2026, the 24th edition of deep art that conquers the world

💃  Flamenco is the soul of Andalusia, and Seville is its temple. From 9 September to 3 October 2026, the city becomes the world epicentre of deep art with the celebration of the Seville Flamenco Biennial 2026, its 24th edition.

Over 72 performances and 22 world premieres will fill 11 emblematic venues in the city, in an event that pays tribute to the centenary of the Generation of '27 and Flamenco Opera.

The big news of this edition is the reopening of the Teatro Lope de Vega, which reopens its doors after two and a half years of renovation to become the sentimental heart of the Biennial.

At The Sun Places, where luxury is defined by authenticity and memorable experiences, we want to invite you to discover this unique festival that combines the deepest tradition with the boldest avant-garde.

Stay with us in our Luxury Apartments in Seville and let yourself be carried away by the magic of flamenco.

The Seville Flamenco Biennial 2026 is one of the most important cultural festivals in the world.

Born in 1980, this biennial event has become the international reference for flamenco. In its 24th edition, the Biennial is committed to a programme that combines the big names in traditional flamenco with the most innovative and experimental proposals.

The hub of the festival will be the newly restored Teatro Lope de Vega, which will host nine top-level performances.

As the director of the Biennial, Luis Ybarra, has pointed out, "the Lope de Vega is the sentimental epicentre of the Biennial. The festival now returns to the space where it was born, where we have celebrated and learned so much".
