La Milla del Arte 2026, Contemporary art invades the Salamanca District

🎨  At The Sun Places we know that luxury is also expressed through art. That's why we invite you to discover La Milla del Arte, the cultural event that transforms the Salamanca District into the epicentre of contemporary art during Madrid Art Week (ARCOmadrid).

From 3 to 15 March 2026, prestigious galleries, foundations and luxury shops come together to offer a unique journey through the latest trends in the art market.

La Milla del Arte takes place in the Madrid Golden Mile, just a stone's throw from Serrano Street and Ortega y Gasset Street. It is an unmissable event for collectors, art lovers and the curious. And to experience it to the fullest, The Sun Places offers you our Luxury Apartments in Madrid in the heart of this privileged enclave.

La Milla del Arte was born in 2021 as an initiative of the Madrid Luxury District association and the main galleries of the Salamanca District to boost the cultural offering during ARCOmadrid, the most important contemporary art fair in Spain.

The success was immediate, and today La Milla del Arte is one of the most anticipated events for collectors and art lovers.

Between 3 and 15 March 2026, galleries such as Marlborough, Cayón, Fernández-Braso and Freijo open their doors with special exhibitions, and the luxury shops of the Madrid Golden Mile install small art displays in their shop windows.

It is a unique opportunity to discover new trends and acquire works by established and emerging artists. The Sun Places invites you to immerse yourself in this cultural experience.

La Milla del Arte coincides with ARCOmadrid, the international contemporary art fair held at IFEMA. But unlike ARCO, La Milla del Arte is free and integrated into the urban fabric of the Madrid Golden Mile.

Walking along Ortega y Gasset Street, Velázquez or Serrano during those days means finding sculptures in the street, live performances and the opportunity to talk to gallery owners and artists.

It is a more intimate and accessible way to approach contemporary art. Below, we tell you all the details of La Milla del Arte 2026.

🎭  What La Milla del Arte represents for the Salamanca District and The Sun Places

La Milla del Arte is the event that best reflects the cultural sophistication of the Salamanca District and the Madrid Golden Mile. It attracts collectors and amateurs from all over the world, boosts the local economy and projects an image of Madrid as a capital of contemporary art.

For The Sun Places, experiencing La Milla del Arte is a natural extension of our philosophy of offering complete luxury experiences.

That is why our Luxury Apartments in Madrid are located in the heart of this artistic circuit.
