Hispanidad 2026 is much more than a cultural event; it is a celebration of the 600 million people who speak Spanish in the world, united by a language that is "the great thread that structures Hispanidad". For eleven days, Madrid will become the epicentre of Hispanic culture with a programme covering music, gastronomy, cinema, folklore, art and heritage.
With the United States as the guest country and a firm commitment to free open-air concerts, this edition promises to exceed one million attendees and consolidate itself as the great festival of the Madrid autumn. We want this experience to be part of your stay.
The celebration will be structured around a varied programme including live music, parades, gastronomy, sport and cultural activities for all audiences. The free concerts will be one of the great attractions, with top-level international artists distributed across the capital's most emblematic stages. Below, we tell you everything you cannot miss.

📜 History and evolution of the festival
Hispanidad 2026 celebrates its sixth edition, consolidating itself as one of the great cultural events of autumn in Madrid. Organised by the Community of Madrid through the Department of Culture, Tourism and Sport, this initiative was born with the purpose of celebrating the richness and diversity of Hispanic culture, recognising the Spanish legacy in the world and strengthening ties between countries that share the language.
In 2025, the event broke its attendance record by bringing together more than 900,000 people, and for 2026 the organisation expects to exceed one million attendees. The slogan of this edition, "All the accents of Spanish fit in Madrid", perfectly summarises the inclusive and celebratory spirit of the event.
