🍦 It's still hot in Seville. The afternoons are still long, the terraces are still full and the sun is still shining brightly over the Giralda. And what better way to enjoy this end of summer than by touring the city with an artisan ice cream in hand.
From 15 to 20 September 2026, Seville hosts the first edition of Gelato Week, a gastronomic route organised by ConGelato that invites you to discover the city's best artisan ice cream parlours through exclusive flavours created for the occasion. Five establishments are taking part in this initiative, which arrives in Spain for the first time, alongside Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia and Málaga.
At The Sun Places, where luxury is defined by authenticity and memorable experiences, we want to invite you to enjoy this unique route that combines creativity, craftsmanship and the best Seville atmosphere. Stay with us in our Luxury Apartments in Seville and let yourself be carried away by the sweetest route of the year.
Gelato Week 2026 in Seville is much more than a simple ice cream tasting. It is an invitation to rediscover the city through its artisan ice cream parlours, to explore the most emblematic neighbourhoods while enjoying unique creations, and to support the work of Seville's master ice cream makers who craft their products every day with top-quality ingredients. For six days, locals and visitors can freely plan their own route, tasting an ice cream at each of the participating establishments.
📅 When is Gelato Week 2026 in Seville?
Gelato Week 2026 in Seville will be held from 15 to 20 September 2026. This is the first edition of this event in Spain, an initiative that was born in Milan and has established itself as the largest travelling event dedicated to artisan gelato. During those six days, participants can tour the five participating ice cream parlours and taste the creations specially designed for the occasion.
📍 The five ice cream parlours of Gelato Week 2026 in Seville
Gelato Week 2026 in Seville proposes a route through five artisan ice cream parlours in the city, each with an exclusive flavour inspired by Seville's identity:
- Heladería Bolas (Calle Orfila, 1): Creamy Cheese with Figs in Pedro Ximénez. A combination that fuses cheese tradition with the sweetness of Jerez wine.
- Heladería Miquel (Calle San Fernando, 7): Seville Courtyard, a flavour that recalls the Seville courtyard, with citrus and jasmine flavours and aromas.
- Lanette Helados Frescos (Calle Regina, 5): Pure chocolate with orange, full of aroma and freshness.
- Manu Jara (Calle Pureza, 83): Toasted egg yolk palmier and Baileys.
- Créeme (Plaza del Museo, 2): Orange Blossom, a flavour that evokes Seville's courtyards in spring.
These flavours will be available only during the days of the event, although participants can choose any other flavour available in each ice cream parlour's display case.
🎟️ How to take part?: tickets and how it works
To take part in Gelato Week 2026 in Seville, those interested must purchase a ticket through the event's official website. There are two options:
- Tub Ticket (12 euros): Allows you to taste up to two flavours at each establishment, served in a tub.
- Cone Ticket (16 euros): Offers up to three flavours at each ice cream parlour, in a cone or tub, with some particularities depending on the establishment (for example, at Lanette it will be served in a tub if three flavours are chosen).
Once the ticket has been used at an ice cream parlour, it will not be valid again at the same establishment. In this way, participants must visit all five ice cream parlours on the route to complete the experience.
🏆 Who organises Gelato Week?
Gelato Week is organised by ConGelato, an Italian company that was born with the aim of creating a community around artisan gelato. The event was born in Italy and, since then, it has never stopped growing. In 2026, the initiative expands to Spain for the first time, with Seville as one of the participating cities alongside Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia and Málaga. ConGelato's aim is clear: to highlight the creativity of master ice cream makers and to bring the public closer to the possibilities offered by artisan gelato beyond traditional flavours.
