Who organises the CAAC Concert Cycles 2024?
Organised by the Seville Jazz Association (Assejazz) in collaboration with the CAAC, these concerts consolidated the city's cultural offering, completing a summer full of cinema, pop and good music.

Prices: General admission €10, with a reduced price of €4 for Assejazz members and free admission for children under 12, thus encouraging access to culture for all audiences.

🏛️ The Andalusian Centre for Contemporary Art (CAAC): A Space with History
The concerts took place at the Andalusian Centre for Contemporary Art (CAAC), an institution that is, in itself, a historical and cultural monument.
📜 History of the CAAC:
- 1990: It was created with the aim of providing Andalusia with an institution for research, conservation, promotion and dissemination of contemporary art.
- 1997: It was established at its current headquarters, the former Monastery of La Cartuja in Seville, a monumental complex with centuries of history. This step involved the integration of the Monumental Complex of La Cartuja and the Museum of Contemporary Art of Seville, including their collections.
- 2018: Two new spaces were incorporated: the C3A Centre for Contemporary Creation of Andalusia in Cordoba, and the 15th Century Pavilion within the Cartuja site, intended for the storage and exhibition of the collection.
- Today, the Andalusian Centre for Contemporary Art (CAAC) is an Administrative Agency dependent on the Ministry of Culture of the Regional Government of Andalusia, and its gardens, cloisters and exhibition spaces are the ideal setting for cultural events such as the jazz cycles.

Assejazz: The Soul of Jazz in Seville
Behind these concert cycles is Assejazz (Seville Jazz Association), a non-profit organisation that was born in December 2012 from the concern of a group of Seville musicians interested in the dissemination of jazz. Since January 2013, it has worked tirelessly to bring this genre to the city.
Assejazz is part of the Andalusian Federation of Jazz Associations (ANDAJAZZ), which brings together 9 associations and adds up to:
- More than 550 concerts per year
- More than 70,000 annual attendees
- More than 400 associated musicians
ANDAJAZZ is a collaborative space of reference at a national level, and its work has been fundamental for jazz in Andalusia to have the visibility and recognition it deserves.
